So how was I able to make a different an unique design for it? Owned by A. F. Klaveness \u0026amp; Co., the ship was notable for its robust construction and service in maritime trade. However, it is most remembered for its role in one of the deadliest maritime disasters in Canadian history.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn May 29, 1914, the Storstad collided with the RMS Empress of Ireland in the foggy waters of the Saint Lawrence River near Rimouski, Quebec. The collision caused the Empress of Ireland to sink rapidly, resulting in the loss of 1,012 lives. The Storstad survived the incident, though it sustained significant damage to its bow. On January 30, 1945, while carrying over 10,000 passengers, the ship was struck by torpedoes from a Soviet submarine in the icy Baltic Sea. It took me several tries to make the cushion right. First I tried using cheese slops, then I added dishes under the hovercraft, until finally switching to the rounded slopes with rounded tiles. Although it’s no ocean liner, it had a crucial role in saving the survivors from the most famous ship sinking event in history. The RMS Carpathia was the closest ship to respond to the SOS rescue signal from the RMS Titanic and managed to save 705 survivors on April 11, 1912.\u003cbr\u003eOne important thing to note about this LEGO MOC is the scale. Making it at 1:1400 would have required using thinner LEGO bar (levers) for the masts.
