When they introduced the Defiant, I was giddy with glee. This was a sleek ship with an insane weapons loadout AND a cloak! The double-neck design makes this thing have immense scale, and the curves just make this thing look sleek and FAST. The ship’s \u003cstrong\u003eelongated shape\u003c\/strong\u003e, reduced saucer section, and streamlined nacelles were intentional design choices to contrast with the bulkier, more luxurious Enterprise-D.
