The last thing you'll see...
BLACKTRON X-87
#buildlikemad
Blacktron's top secret development program, the X-project, has silently been working on a hyperspace-capable, single-seat fighter.
Code-named X-87 in honour of the year the Invader was developed, this modern alt-build of its successor, the 40580 Cruiser, is perfectly balanced for high-speed manoeuvres and will easily outrun and ambush anything else out there!
The Blacktron logo behind the pilot will be the last thing you see as the X-87 blasts out of the darkness to finish you...!
The front section of the design is built around the shape of the cockpit canopy using a unique combination of wedge plates to snugly circumscribe its outline and protect the pilot who sits low and close to the centre of gravity.
The rear is built with a combination of insane angles and SNOT techniques to give the X-87 its unique profile.
This is an fairly advanced build for a relatively small craft but then again, this is Blacktron's top secret X-project... expect nothing less!![]()

I do my very best to create high-quality LEGO builds that surprise and wow the builder, so please feel to let me know if I can improve or make changes in any way!
Special thanks to Thomas Kiesswetter for test-piloting the X-87 prior to release.
Any mistakes remain mine.
Please share the X-87 with your favourite KFOLs and AFOLs!
