MOCBoxing Highlight: DarthDesigner

Today we’re taking the time to highlight one of our many incredible designers on the site. Starting off strong, we have DarthDesigner! With legitimately hundreds of transportation-based MOCs available, he’s one of the best scale builders around. Darth’s bread and butter are air-based flying contraptions. Anything that has wings or propellers, he can do. Not only that, but most of the MOCs are military focused, with a majority of the planes and helicopters being in 1:35th scale.

It doesn’t stop there though, because ships and submarines are included as well! Yes, not one aspect of military vehicles goes unappreciated. The water vehicles have mostly been scaled down to an even 1:300th scale, making it perfect to display on a shelf or desk. In my opinion, the planes deserve to be hung from the ceiling!

Finally, the land stuff doesn’t get lost in translation, because Darth has plenty of tanks to satisfy any tracked truck enthusiast. However, it’s not just real life military work either. Star Wars (surprising, considering the name) makes an appearance with a variety of massive star ships on display.

The best part of these MOCs are the bigger, 1:34 scale planes have a very special feature; payloads! With all kinds of missiles and bombs to load in the minifig scale planes, DarthDesigner really understands and latches onto the military vehicle realm of Lego, providing intricately detailed scale vehicles for all to enjoy!
