Description
This is the 2bricks minifigure scale rendition of the LAAT Republic Gunship, which needs no introduction to Star Wars fans!! This particular model represents the "fresh off the line" version we see in Attack Of The Clones, in the very first engagement of The Clone War.
The 2bricks version boasts a very sturdy and highly screen-accurate construction, and a geared mechanism to make the rocket batteries to the rear of the ship rotate counter to one another, accurately simulating the movement from the "real" thing. Features such as the accurately posable bubble turrets, accurate interior with cargo net, and walkable space from the front to the back, as well as highly accurate angles and shaping all come together to make this feel like a truly premium building experience!
Being a minifigure scale troop transport, this model should be able to hold a great many troops, and it can! The cockpit can seat your clone gunner and pilot, as well as the side mounted bubble turrets which hold 2 additional gunners, and the troop bay can easily hold a dozen figures!

05/14/2024 Added PDF Instructions V02, this version includes minor fixes for viewing angles and changes reflected in the parts list for efficiency sake. Also added alternate build for internal support strut in separate PDF instruction file showing what to build and how to install it. Parts list included for this build also. (Note, parts list includes only the additional parts required to build the alternate strut, but makes use of some parts that were used in the original version). Video detailing all changes and reasons for them can be seen here. I have also added a parts list for just the additional parts used in V02, for those who wish to make the upgrade (this doesn't include the extra parts for the alternate support strut, as that is it's own build and has its own parts list. Sorry this is a bit confusing!!)

Currently, we focus on full kits including both bricks and instructions. We may offer instructions-only in the future. If you want us to help you out with finding the best places, or maybe even printing out the instructions , drop us an email and we'll gladly help you out.
