Incom T-65 X Wing Starfighter "Red 5"

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ! This model has been updated for 2023!! I have also included the additional parts required to make this new version compatible with the single piece canopy, and that list is labeled "X-win 2023 cockpitExtraPieces.cvs" to which you will have to add part 6289537, or an X-wing canopy piece of your choosing.

Whatever the scenario you can be assured you are getting a model that is built for play as much as display; with no weak areas anywhere in the design, the ship is highly swooshable, and has a smooth mechanism to open and close the S-Foils without the need for complicated geared mechanisms or rubber bands! The color scheme of this craft is also as accurate as possible to the shooting miniature used in the original Star Wars movie back in 1977, with accurate detailing, proportions and all the features you would expect.
Features include opening bottom cargo compartment, Opening cockpit and opening Astromech droid area, fully retractible and sturdy landing gear, and smoothly opening S-foils. The cockpit design called for in the instructions is very rare, having only appeared in 1 version of the X wing set in the past, and costing roughly $32 for a single piece. I have substituted it for the silver print version that is the same in every way but the color of the frame print, and costs half the amount. Feel free to switch this out if you have the sand blue version since its far more accurate to this ship (part ID: 21849pr0004)
