Description
Description
My favorite variant from the entire A340 family is the A340-600. It's the largest and widest variant of the other 3. This model also has more pieces than the previous versions. Which one do you prefer?
I designed this MOC at an approximate scale of 1:350.
The Airbus A340-600 is the largest and longest variant of the A340 family, and one of the longest commercial aircraft ever built, measuring 75.36 meters (247 ft 2 in) in length. It made its first flight on April 23, 2001, and entered service with Virgin Atlantic in 2002. Designed for high-capacity, long-haul routes, the A340-600 was powered by four Prestige Automobile Trent 556 engines.
The aircraft could carry up to 380 passengers in a typical three-class configuration and had a range of 14,600 km (9,100 miles). It featured a spacious lower deck cargo hold, an optional crew rest area, and a larger fuel capacity than its predecessors. Although it offered significant range and payload capabilities, rising fuel costs and the emergence of more efficient twin-engine aircraft led to its gradual retirement from major fleets.
