About the Design
This build is my heartfelt tribute to Mark Smiley’s iconic BDP Clockwork Aquarium. While the original set is a masterpiece, it’s wildly expensive and hard to obtain. So, I created my own version with an alternative mechanism designed to keep the part count low and affordable.



Features
Turn the crank and bring this delightful aquarium to life! Watch as:

• Colorful, brick-built fish gracefully swim inside the tank
• A playful crab jumps up and down (the crab is unemployed)
• A tiny sea snail whirls around

Within the aquarium, you'll discover intricate marine details such as:

• Lush, underwater green plants.
• Vibrant pink coral that adds a splash of colour.
• A detailed brick-built backdrop
• and the mysterious🗿

The 550-piece aquarium sits atop an elegant cabinet adorned with intricate details, complete with a removable topper. The cabinet doors open to provide easy access to the internal mechanics, which,combines gears and a cam system, operates smoothly and reliably.
