First a video, then a YouTube short, and now finally the building instructions for my LEGO City Beach District MOC can be downloaded on Rebrickable!
The City Beach District groups several types of bright residential buildings which you might encounter in modern coastal cities across the globe. 
The 1x2 grill pieces are used to either imitate balconies or windows depending on their placement on these various buildings.
The palm trees along the quays are simply made of 1x1 square and round LEGO pieces.
