Description
This is a Container Gantry Crane on rails, inspired by those found in ports nearby me as well as the container crane built by JANG for his city.
The gantry part is rigged with a pulley system to fold up and down, to allow container ships to take their place under the crane. The cab rolls forward and back to move the containers, and another pulley system allows the containers to be lifted up and set down. The containers use the standard LEGO 16x6 container design, as seen in sets such as 10219-1 or my own Aquarium Container MOC.
An accompanying set of MILS plates provide the rails for the crane.
