Duty Commander - Fire Service

Taking inspiration from one of my favourite childhood Lego sets, the 7206 Fire Helicopter, I’m excited to present my latest creation: the Duty Commander MOC.

As the name suggests, the Duty Commander represents a senior firefighter’s vehicle, purpose-built for overseeing and coordinating safe responses to evolving incidents. Acting as a central hub for communications and intelligence, this vehicle trades most traditional firefighting gear for advanced communication tools, making it an essential addition to any Lego emergency services lineup.

Key features include:
• An intelligence canopy, complete with computers and radios stored on the passenger side, paired with a full breathing apparatus on the driver’s side for operational readiness,
• A roof-mounted Starlink dish and fireground radio antenna, boosting communication coverage for nearby firefighting appliances, and
• A distinctive livery, reflecting the commanding presence and importance of this vehicle on the scene.
