⬛⬜⬛⬜ THE MOC ⬜⬛⬜⬛
This MOC is meant to be more of a diorama than an accurate geographical depiction of the world famous Pyramids of Giza, Egypt. Each pyramid is built within some accuracy of the scale I chose. I also included the Queens' Pyramids and some tombstones next to the smallest one.
I designed this MOC at an approximate scale of 1:3400 for the main 3 pyramids.
⬛⬜⬛⬜ HISTORY ⬜⬛⬜⬛
The Pyramids of Giza, constructed during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty (c. 2600–2500 BCE), served as monumental tombs for pharaohs. The Great Pyramid of Khufu, originally standing at 146.6 meters (481 feet), is the largest and most precisely built, composed of an estimated 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing up to 15 tons. The Pyramid of Khafre, slightly smaller at 136.4 meters (448 feet), retains portions of its original smooth limestone casing near the top. The Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest at 65 meters (213 feet), is notable for its granite base and a partially completed exterior.
