🔥THIS SIGNIFICANT MODIFICATION OF 76934 INCORPORATES....
The instructions for this mod are designed in line with the official instructions. At certain points, you'll need to refer to the official build.
The rear of the F40 had to undergo a major overhaul to enable the rear lights and diffuser to split and for the whole cover to be removable while remaining in one piece. The entire engine cover and spoiler assembly now attaches to the chassis by the wheel arches only. The structural integrity of the redesigned rear engine cover has been tested in this proof of concept.
As you can tell, I've been a bit obsessed with making sure this is ready to go in time for the release of the set! From the initial reverse-engineering from the photos, to a physical test build, and then refining everything once the instructions were available (thanks to someone in the US who picked up an early copy from Walmart 😅), this has been awesome fun, and I really hope you enjoy these mods.

- LIFTABLE REAR ENGINE COVER (NEW)
- IMPROVED F120a TWIN-TURBO V8 as per MOC-190788
- HEADLIGHT MOD as per MOC-190545
IMPORTANT UPDATE - I've tested the build with the official set and it definitely needed to be stabilised. I've added 4 extra parts to do this and have updated the inventory. Please see image below. The following changes are needed: - Remove red grille tile from roof and replace with 2x tile, modified with clip (15715).
- Attach 1x2 plate modified with bar (48336) to the roof and attach rear cover
- Attach bar holder with clip (11090) to 6L bar with stop
