Magic School Modular Viaduct Entrance Hall

This is the latest expansion of my huge-but-still-play-scale modular Hogwarts School!! The Viaduct Entrance Hall is a very elegant building which changed a fair amount over the course of the 8 potter movies - going from having stubby conical roofs at the beginning, to being much more gothic and elongated by the end, and then eventually when the Viaduct Bridge was moved in the last movie, it became untethered from the rest of the castle! My version depicts it from around movies 4-6 where it had the look most people remember, and was still connected to the Viaduct! (this is the version LEGO also went with for most of their modern castle depictions).

The model has a large open entry way with a couple of braziers burning to provide some simulated light, stairs that lead down to the Tapestry Hallway/Professor Snape's Potion stores, and then stairs that lead up to the Defense against the Dark Arts classroom! The roof and back walls are all removable to access the interior play spaces, and the exterior is highly detailed with lots of cool building techniques to achieve all of the crazy architectural shapes!

I call out several optional stickers which I make use of in the build, as usual these aren't really essential, but if you really want to get the best out of the model you can use the following sticker sheets: (82438) Sticker sheet for set 76389 - this one is used for the Gilderoy Lockhart portrait, as well as being very useful with all of the smaller portraits which you can make use of in the tapestry hallway. (1007759) Sticker sheet for set 76408 - this one I used for the tapestry hallway as well, in particular the large Black Family Tree tapestry, which I have repurposed as a hanging tapestry in hogwarts - the other black family portraits are again useful for that same hallway if you wish. (10077931) Sticker Sheet for Set 76407 which I used just for the 2x3 dark blue/silver map, which again I used in the tapestry hallway - this one is the most optional of the bunch I would say, and only something worth adding if you don't have another 2x3 or even 2x2 decorated element to fill that space on the wall. As usual, I have not added these sticker sheets to the parts inventory, but feel to add them yourself when purchasing your parts using the above referenced names and serial numbers, and you should have no problems locating them!
