The First Order Tie Bomber, also known as the Tie/se Bomber, was featured in Star Wars comics and the Star Wars: Resistance TV series. It's one of the coolest designs of the sequel era, as it avoids the easy and lazy solution of simply recoloring an imperial ship and adds to the bomber profile some traits of the Tie Interceptor or even the Tie Silencer.
This MOC was designed before the announcement of the 75347 Tie Bomber, so the similarities are simply a coincidence, as both designs are based on the use of the relatively new 3x3 curved pieces for the cockpit. After the release of 75347, though, I added to the MOC a bomb drop feature rather like the one used on the imperial bomber set. Despite the slightly reduced scale compared to other Tie builds, the MOC still has a spot for a pilot minifigure.
