Here's my guide to modify/substitute to some of the parts used in Jerac/BrickVault BTL-A4 Y-Wing Minifigure Scale model.
Main modification are the 8 "rails" for the rear engine diffuser. This solution despite looking fragile is much more solid than the 15L Technic Links suggested in the original instructions. This setup is all "one piece" and doesn't allow twisting of the rails.
