As a long time LEGO Star Wars fan of a certain age, I have a fond memory of the 2008 Imperial Dropship Battlepack set, and without realizing that LEGO is soon to release their 3rd interpretation of the vehicle (the other was in 2019), I decided it would be fun to redesign it through my own creative lens!
The dropship maintains all the signature characteristics of the original; compact size, the sloping cockpit with room for a pilot, space for 4 troopers and their weapons (The 2019 version reduced this to 3), and most importantly of all the ability to drop off a pallet with your troops and fly the rest of the ship away!
Note: The following colored elements are hidden in the final build, and can be set to "any color" when ordering your parts in order to potentially cut costs: Orange, Lime Green, White.
