Inspired by the specialist vehicles I’ve worked with during my firefighting career in Australia, I’m excited to introduce the Modular (Pod) Transport System Appliance – the ultimate Swiss Army knife of firefighting transportation.
This versatile vehicle is designed to carry a variety of essential modules, including flatbeds for skid steers and other equipment, modular water tanks, and specialised pods, such as a Hose Layer/Recovery Pod and pump modules.
Key features of this build include:
• Stabilisation legs and a crane for unloading equipment on the fireground,
• A heavy-duty exoskeleton to protect the cab, and
• A deployable hose recovery pod, complete with a detachable pump module for flexible operations.
This MOC blends authenticity and playability, capturing the ingenuity and functionality of the specialist fire trucks I’ve encountered throughout my career.
