The Razor Crest, from The Mandalorian TV show, is one of my favorites Star Wars ships, and this is my second attempt at making a playscale version, this time more heavily based on set 75292.

Almost the entire model is redesigned in order to make it more accurate to the show version. The main hull is thinner, but the inner structure is simplified, giving better access and a lot of interior space. The subassembly on top of the cockpit and the escape pod (which still fits a minifigure) can be easily removed to give better access from the top, but will not fall off even if you turn the model upside down.

Interior details include a better control panel for the pilot, a small armory that can fit the Mandalorian's rifle and jetpack (note the accessories are not included in the parts list, I assume you probably have several minifigs of the characters and already own them), and a small carbonite freezing chamber, while keeping the sleeping quarters and two carbonite slabs from the set. Another play feature kept from the original model are the projectile shooters.

The best feature, though, in my opinion, are the retractable landing gear. This feature was carefully designed in order to be as close as possible to the source material while still being able to support the model's weight without cheater bricks on the underside, and also being able to be folded into the hull almost entirely. Trust me, it's a really cool feature, and best of all: you can still open the side panels even with the gear deployed.

PLEASE NOTE THIS CANNOT BE BUILT WITH ONLY THE PARTS FROM SET 75292. It uses many parts from the set, but requires some extra ones. The set will give you more than half the parts needed, including all the stickers and most of the rarest/most expensive pieces, wo it's a great starting point for this MOC. If you own the set and want to build this MOC, you can find out what extra parts you'll need by using the COMPARE MOC feature on the bottom of the MOC page on Rebrickable to compare the MOC to the original set.

If you choose to acquire these instructions, I hope you enjoy this build and highly appreciate your support!
