⬛⬜⬛⬜ THE MOC ⬜⬛⬜⬛

I'm releasing yet another design of a Canadian ship which has been requested for a very a long time on YouTube and Discord. This is the SS Caribou which I had to build at a bigger scale than usual as the ship was a ferry used between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and wasn't as big as the other ships I designed.

I designed this MOC at an approximate scale of 1:1000.

⬛⬜⬛⬜ HISTORY ⬜⬛⬜⬛

The SS Caribou was a Newfoundland passenger ferry launched in 1925, providing vital transportation between North Sydney, Nova Scotia, and Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. Operated by the Newfoundland Railway, it was a lifeline for passengers and freight across the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Tragically, in 1942, it was torpedoed by a German U-boat during World War II, resulting in the loss of 137 lives and marking a somber chapter in Canadian maritime history.
