SS Edmund Fitzgerald + Display Stand

This is a refreshed version of my LEGO SS Edmund Fitzgerald MOC with better core stability, reduced price-per part (with some parts substituted with newer ones), and a display stand for the ship to sit on.

The reason for releasing this version is due to the historical date that will fall this November 2025: 50 years since the tragedy of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald Freighter happened.



The SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a Great Lakes freighter launched in 1958, celebrated as the largest and fastest ship on the lakes at the time. Known for its impressive size and reliability, it transported iron ore across the Great Lakes for nearly two decades. Tragically, the ship sank during a storm on Lake Superior in 1975, with all 29 crew members lost, inspiring the famous ballad "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."
