Inspired by the recently commissioned Hazardous Area Rescue (Unimog) Ambulances in New South Wales, Australia, I’m excited to present this Lego MOC – a rugged and versatile vehicle designed for paramedics working in the most extreme conditions.
This model replicates the real-world functionality of these specialized ambulances, which are built to handle:
• Deep water crossings,
• Fireground operations, with crew sprays and burn-over protection, and
• Falling debris, thanks to a robust exoskeleton.
Key features of this MOC include:
• 4-wheel drive for conquering challenging terrain both on and off the road,
• A detailed ambulance rear cab, fully equipped for on-scene patient treatment or transport to the nearest hospital, and
• A deployable ladder, making it easier to transport patients into and out of the vehicle.
