USS Colorado Battleship

This version of the USS Colorado is not built to any scale. Similar to my other mini scaled Battleships I just eyed out the dimensions relative to each ship I built. You should check my 1:1000 scale battleships in my MOC collection!



The USS Colorado (BB-45) was the lead ship of the Colorado-class battleships of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1923. Armed with eight 16-inch (406 mm) guns, she was one of the most heavily armed battleships of her time. Colorado served in the Pacific during World War II, participating in numerous battles including the invasions of Tarawa, Saipan, Tinian, and the Philippines.

Despite suffering damage from kamikaze attacks and shore bombardment, she played a significant role in the Pacific theater. After the war, she was decommissioned in 1947 and eventually scrapped in 1959.
