USS Montana Battleship

Among my unscaled battleship MOCs, this LEGO USS Montana Battleship is my favorite. Since it's much larger than the rest of the 2017-2018 models, it has more detailing and more space for details especially in the middle. But, of course, I prefer my scaled Battleships even more since they are much more realistic.



The USS Montana (BB-67) was a planned Montana-class battleship for the U.S. Navy during World War II. Designed to be the largest and most heavily armed battleship ever built by the U.S., it would have featured twelve 16-inch guns, enhanced armor, and greater displacement than the Iowa-class. However, construction was canceled in 1943 in favor of aircraft carriers and faster battleships, leaving Montana unbuilt.
