UPDATE 2: She's built! Got the parts off a mix of BrickLink and LEGO Pick-a-brick, and it's came to around £80 with delivery. Not bad!
UPDATE: Removed expensive pieces and increased the accuracy of almost every area. From the hull and the saucer, to the massively improved accuracy of the nacelles, this is a big update. Hope you enjoy! Also, this time I've included the entire main cast! This thing is a beast!
I'm a big Trekkie, and I love the Intrepid class ship from Star Trek: Voyager. I'd recently finished the series again and thought, "There must be an epic Voyager MOC out there I can order". So I looked at what was out there already, and unfortunately whilst there were some beautiful versions at this rough size (best for display IMHO), none really nailed the shape and the level of detail I wanted.
So I thought I'd have a go at building her.
I tried to include every detail that made sense at this size, including:
All whilst being true to her shape and scale as much as possible. I wanted this set to be fun, use modern and advanced Lego techniques, and be a stunning collector's piece for any Star Trek fan.
It comes with a stand for display, and the front and rear hull pins are replaceable if you want to connect this to custom landing legs.
